Matthieu Barret “Petit Ours Brun” rosé is made from a blend of Grenache and Cinsault grapes, which are grown on the slopes of the Rhône Valley. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before being gently pressed to extract the juice. The juice is then fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, and aged on its lees for several months to add complexity and texture to the wine.
The resulting wine is a beautiful pale pink color, with aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and citrus. On the palate, the wine is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of red berries and a hint of minerality. The wine has a lively acidity and a long, dry finish, making it a perfect pairing for a wide range of dishes, from grilled poultry and fish, to salade nicoise and egg dishes.
