Prune, raisin and PX Sherry aromas are warm and heady, and while they might suggest overripeness, there isn't much (if any) on a palate that is cut by tomato-like acidity. Savory plum and berry flavors are more earthy than desiccated, while this is fully alive on the finish, with rubbing tannins. Drink through 2030. Michael Schachner
