Description
The 2019 Domaine Dugat-Py Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Très Vieilles Vignes is a distinctive white Burgundy from the Côte de Beaune. Made from Chardonnay grown on exceptionally old vines in Morgeot, one of Chassagne-Montrachet’s most respected Premier Cru sites, it offers the concentration and depth that very old vines can give. Expect a rich yet precise style, with notes of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, toasted hazelnut and a mineral thread, a broad, layered palate and a long finish. A compelling bottle for collectors and white Burgundy enthusiasts, it pairs beautifully with lobster, seared scallops, roast chicken and creamy mushroom dishes.
